SPG uses Black Soldier Flies to convert organic waste into animal feed products. SPG will also be using mealworms in the future for human consumption. Insect-based bioconversion can reduce volumes of organic waste by up to 70% in two weeks. (Gold et al., 2018; Myers et al., 2008; Rehman et al., 2017)
